Privacy Policy

A short policy, because we collect very little. This describes the site as it exists today; it will be updated when accounts and server-side tools are added, before those features ship.

What we do not collect

We do not collect content you paste into the workbench tools. Those tools run entirely in your browser; nothing you paste is transmitted anywhere. See security.
We do not use advertising or third-party tracking scripts.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data.
We do not set cross-site identifiers or build advertising profiles.
There are no user accounts today, so we hold no account data.

What we do collect

Analytics. We use privacy-conscious, aggregate analytics to understand which resources are useful — page views, referrers, and country-level location. This is not tied to an identifier that follows you across sites, and it is not used to build a profile of you.

Newsletter. If you subscribe to Inside The AI Stack Brief, we store your email address for the purpose of sending it. It is not shared with anyone else and it is not used for anything other than the newsletter. Every issue includes a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing deletes the address.

Messages you send us. If you contact us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply and so we have a record of the correction or report.

Server logs. Standard request logs from the hosting layer, retained for a short period for operational and abuse-prevention purposes.

Local storage in your browser

The site stores one preference locally: your colour theme choice. It never leaves your browser and is not readable by us. If you have not chosen a theme, nothing is stored at all.

Cookies

The site sets no tracking cookies. Any cookie present is strictly necessary for delivering the site.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. For the newsletter, unsubscribing is immediate and deletes your address; you do not need to ask us.

To make any other request, use contact.

Third parties

The site is served by a hosting provider and, if you subscribe, the newsletter is delivered by an email service provider. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. Fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page makes no request to a font provider.

Changes

If this policy changes materially — particularly when accounts or server-side tools are added — the updated date at the top of this page changes and the substance of the change is described here rather than folded in quietly.
