Using this site

You may read, share, and link to anything published here. You may use the commands, configuration examples, and code in your own work, including commercially.

You may not republish substantial portions of the written content as your own, or use it to train systems that reproduce it as a substitute for the original.

Operational use — read this one

The technical content on this site describes operations on infrastructure. You are responsible for what you run.

• Read any procedure fully before starting it, including its rollback section.
• Verify commands against your own environment and your own versions. A command that is correct on one release can be destructive on another.
• Where a page is marked as reviewed rather than tested, it has not been executed end to end. How we test explains the difference.
• Test in a non-production environment first where that is possible.
• Take a backup before any operation marked destructive, and confirm you can restore from it.

We publish carefully, mark our confidence honestly, and correct errors when we find them. We cannot know your environment, and we accept no liability for outcomes in it. The content is provided as-is, without warranty.

The tools

The workbench tools apply rules and parsing to input you provide. They are aids to review, not approvals. A clean result means nothing matched the checks listed on that tool’s page — it does not mean a change is safe.

Tools marked as not built do not work. They are listed for roadmap transparency and no representation is made that they will ship on any timeline.

Accuracy and change

Technology changes and pages age. Every technical resource shows when it was last verified so you can judge how much to trust it. If you find something wrong, please tell us — corrections are welcome and are credited where the reporter wants to be.

Paid access

Where paid plans are offered, the terms of that purchase — including billing and cancellation — will be presented at the point of sale and will govern that transaction. No paid plans are active yet.

We link to primary documentation and external sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content. Where a link is ever an affiliate link, it will be disclosed on the page carrying it; there are none today.
